DIY - Christmas Ornaments

Handmade Christmas ornaments make great stocking stuffers and are so beautiful!  You can buy clear glass Christmas ornaments and then stuff ribbon inside or use double sided tape and paste ribbon on the outside.  I have also rolled up small pictures to make personalized ornaments or put stickers on the outside of the ornament.

There are so many blogs with tutorials on how to make handmade Christmas ornaments.  Here are some I would recommend you try: Greenbean's Crafterole and Cook Love Craft.

More Christmas Cards

Here are some more Christmas cards that I have made this year.  I really enjoy card making - I find it relaxing and the possibilities of new and different cards are endless.  The plus side: I have a card for any occasion on hand anytime I may need it!

I really enjoy Sketch Challenges.  If you want some new ideas of layouts for cards these are a great tool to use.  Stamping 411 always has a Saturday Sketch Challenge and includes pictures of cards made based on the challenge.

Happy Card Making!

I love scarfs!

I love wearing scarfs.  They are so versatile, keep you warm and are a must have accessory.  If you are anything like me you probably only wear your scarfs a few different ways but would like to learn some new scarf techniques.  I would recommend that you check out 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf in 4.5 Minutes by Wendy of Wendy's Lookbook.

I would definitely suggest that you also check out Wendy's Blog - filled with great fashion advice and creative photos and videos.

Here I am wearing a 2 different scarfs a few different ways:

Holiday Wreaths

I was taking out my Christmas Decorations tonight and found my Holiday Wreath that I made a few years ago.  I still love this homemade wreath more than the ones you can buy in the stores especially because the possibilities are endless... you can choose the colour scheme and what to place on the wreath.  Plus side is that they are much cheaper this way and fun to make!  All you need is a plain wreath, a hot glue gun and some decorative material (i.e. ribbon, artificial flowers, ornaments, etc.)
